Wheels like the Aluminum Hi-Spec Series 6 Trailer Wheel # AM22652B can be used on a boat trailer or RV pull trailer. We list boat trailer wheels as any wheels with corrosion/rust resistance but those wheels can also be used on RV trailers. view full answer...
Yes, there is and it's the wheels. Boat trailer wheels like the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel item # AM31952 have galvanized wheels that are designed to be used in the water. They won't rust like the steel wheel on the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" White Wheel item # AM31951 you were looking at.
Both of these wheel tire combos have the exact same ST175/80R13 tire with a load range of C item # AM10199. Both have 5 on 4-1/2 lug patterns.... view full answer...
Yes, the sensors that come with the TireMinder TPMS # TST-507-FT-4 are indeed waterproof and are suitable for boat trailer wheels. The transmitter is also waterproof, however TireMinder does not recommend the transmitter box be submerged more than 30 minutes. As long as you keep that in mind when you are installing the transmitter and when you launch your boat you will be able to use the sensors without any issues. view full answer...
We do have 12" wheels with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. Since this is for a boat trailer, I recommend getting an aluminum wheel like the # AM22318HWT or at least a galvanized wheel like # AM20124. I went ahead and attached a link below to all of our 12" wheels with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. Wheel and tire combinations are also available if you're looking to replace tires as well. view full answer...
The Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel you mentioned, part # TTW460545WS1 does indeed have a zero offset. It would make an excellent replacement for your existing wheels. The tire is a radial, with a 1760 lb capacity at 50psi. The tire carries an M speed rating, good for up to 81 mph. view full answer...
For a replacement rim on your Ranger boat trailer I recommend the # AM22327. This is a 14" diameter x 5-1/2" wide rim with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. It also has corrosion protection with an aluminum construction and features a lifetime warranty against structural defects. view full answer...
Your tongue weight is going to be 10-15% of your trailer weight. With a 5,000 lb boat and assuming a tandem axle trailer weighing an average of 1,000 lbs that puts you at 600-900 lbs of tongue weight. This would allow you to use the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP10 you were looking at. It has a lift capacity of 1,200 lbs which will be more than enough. It has a bracket height of 14-1/2" retracted, 24-1/2" extended, and a 10" lift.
However, my personal recommendation would be... view full answer...
If the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10234 is too large to fit on your boat trailer you will need to go down to smaller wheel size. This tire is 26.3" in diameter and 8.1" wide. It is designed to fit a 5" to 6-1/2" wide 14" wheel. This will be 1.4" larger in diameter and 0.8" wider. than your current 185/75R14 currently on your trailer.
I recommend the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel # AM31994 if the above tire will not fit. This tire is... view full answer...
We are only going to have the wheel with the 8 triangular holes like you found in the Loadstar 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30670. We do not have any 12" wheels with 10 triangular spaces like you currently have. view full answer...
If the leaf springs are totally worn out/flat and you're putting a lot of miles on the trailer that might happen eventually. Then again you aren't over the axle capacity with two 3,500 lb axles so I wouldn't exactly expect this from just the leaf springs. If they weren't like this before and it happened over time double check all of your suspension components. It could also be damage to the axles or spindles. Realistically it would be a good idea to take it by a trailer shop and have them... view full answer...
As long as the winch rope of the Superwinch LT3000 ATV Winch # SW1130220 has tension on it and the boat/trailer weighs less than its 3,000lb capacity you shouldn't have an issue pulling the boat in or out of the garage. You'll want to make sure that you properly mount the winch in the garage so that the weight of the boat/trailer doesn't yank the winch out while in use. You can use some wedge anchor bolts to secure it to the concrete floor. view full answer...
The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" Galvanized Spoke Wheel # AM31202 has an 81mph speed rating and load rating of 1,220lbs per tire so it will be able to support your boat and trailer. It also has the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern on the galvanized wheel.
If you prefer a Grey Wheel # AM20165 over the galvanized above you can pair this with either the 4.80R12 # TT48012C or the ST145/R12 # AM10130. view full answer...
I believe the wheel/tire combo you are referencing is the Kenda Loadstar 205/65-10 part # AM3H454 as we have it listed as a direct replacement for Tracker pontoon boat trailers. This would be way too small to fit a 10 inch diameter hub drum.
The smallest wheel and tire size that can fit on a 10 inch drum like what comes with the Timbren Axle Less part # A35RS545E is a 13 inch like the # AM31994 which comes with the tire size 175/80R13. view full answer...
Steven, the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel # AM3H340 you're looking at are 20.8" tall when inflated.
So if a 19" tire would give you 2" of clearance this tire will give you nearly 4" of additional clearance which should alleviate the issue.
A 20" tire like # AM1HP52 would be able to carry the 1600 lb weight capacity you're needing, but these tires aren't going to work with your 4x12 wheels.
What you're going to have to do is swap your tires out with an... view full answer...
We definitely do have a spare that will work for you Erik but you will need to verify what tire size you have on your current wheels as it could be one of two options. It's either a 205/75-14 which the part # AM32131 would be a great solution for or its a 215/75-14 and the # AM32182 would work for that.
Both of these have the correct 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern you need too. view full answer...
Sorry John, the Curt dinghy tow harness 58963 can only be used for dinghy towing and will not work for connecting to a trailer. Instead you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 for your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This harness is specifically designed for trailer use as it has a powered converter which will send power to the trailer lights from your battery rather than putting strain on your factory wiring. view full answer...
What you have there is a Dutton Lainson jack. There is no longer a direct replacement jack, but you can use the # DL22580 which will be an upgrade. This is a swivel jack with a 1,500 lb capacity and 12" of lift. This has dual wheels for easy maneuvering and a bolt-on installation. view full answer...
Thank you for providing all the information. If you are going to replace your entire idler hub you would want the Stainless # KH84545S or Galvanized # DE36VR idlers hubs since its on a boat trailer. These will come with the Inner Race # L68111 and Outer Race # L44610 already in the hub. It will then use the Inner # L68149 and Outer # L44649 bearings along with the Seal Set # BB60002 to work with your Bearing Buddy Protectors # BB1980A-SS.
If you are going to reuse your hubs you would... view full answer...
The highest lift is going to come from the Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels # ARK54FR. This has a retracted bracket height of 16-3/4" and a lift of 15-1/2" for an extended height of 32-1/4". The capacity is 1,100 lbs so not as high as the RAM but it looks like your boat only weighs 4,200 lbs so the tongue weight shouldn't come close to this.
To give you another option that doesn't carry such a high cost check out the Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # DL22210.... view full answer...
